Playtech Launches Mobile Bingo for Android

Playtech Limited, a leader in online gambling software, has launched a mobile bingo service for Android devices. The product will allow customers to chat with other players and enjoy games such as 90 ball bingo, 80 ball bingo, 75 ball bingo and Deal or No Deal Bingo.

According to a statement from Playtech, players are now able to access their online accounts via Android handsets and play along with players from the Web.”

“In the coming months the product will be rolled out across the iOS platform for iPhone and iPad users, as well as an HTML5 version.”

This new product is promising ‘a seamless experience between the web and mobile platforms’. Over the upcoming months, the product will be released to a ‘core group of partners’, while it is currently accessible via ‘a select number of’ licensees. Seattle-based casual games provider, Big Fish Games Inc. has signed a deal with London-based Betable to provide real money gambling to UK-based mobile players.

The Big Fish real money app will be available for iPhone users and will be a version of Card Ace: Casino, the mobile social casino game developed by Big Fish. A new account holder at William Hill Mobile Vegas Casino won a jackpot payout on the video slots game, Cop the Lot. The player, who only signed up at the casino two weeks prior to his win, took home close to £110,000.

American supplier of mobile and in-play gaming technology, Cantor Gaming, plans to launch a wi-fi sports wagering solution within Nevada. The solution will be available for online and mobile wagering via multiple devices including desktop computers and laptops and mobile handsets.

Based in Las Vegas, Cantor Gaming is an affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald, a financial services company. The new wi-fi solution will be available only in the State of Nevada. 3G and 4G location capabilities are not necessary; however, according to Cantor Gaming, ‘any wi-fi network within Nevada’ will support the solution. Virgin Mobile to Use IGT Mobile Remote Game Server

Virgin Games and Virgin Mobile Casino will begin using a mobile remote game server (RGS) solution licensed by International Game Technology (IGT). The agreement will allow Virgin Mobile to offer mobile versions of specific games.

William Hill Provides Mobile Sportsbetting for Las Vegas Casino

UK-based gaming company, William Hill, has signed an agreement with the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to provide mobile sports betting and a betting kiosk. The agreement comes less than a month after William Hill received their Nevada Gaming license. The Plaza Hotel and Casino is operated by Play LV.

William Hill already operates the Lucky’s Race and Sports Book at the Plaza Hotel and the racing and sportsbook assets of the Sierra Development Company, since it acquired American Wagering Incorporated, Brandywine Bookmaking for approximately $53 million.
