Mobile gaming software developer, Probability, has announced its intention to enter the Italian gaming market following its acquisition of Playyoo SA. The Switzerland-based Playyoo develops and operates business-to-business sports betting and mobile software for the Italian market.
The initial consideration for the acquisition of Playyoo SA is £1.8 million. One of the founders of Playyoo, Rocco Pellegrinelli, who is currently a non-executive director of the company, will become a non-executive director on the board of directors of Probability, as part of the acquisition deal. Electronic Arts (EA) Incorporated, together with Caesars Interactive Entertainment Incorporate, has launched a poker mobile app to coincide with the running of the 43rd World Series of Poker (WSOP). Available for play on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, it is a play-for-fun poker app that has been designed to attract ‘novices and pro players alike.’
While the app offers only play-for-free poker, it offers ‘features and functions pulled straight from live action.’ It allows players to work towards VIP rooms and gives them the chance to gain pro level status. Santa Monica-based social games provider, Buffalo Studios, has released Bingo Rush for mobile. The Bingo Blitz Facebook game has been modified for mobile handsets to provide a fast-paced single-player version of the game for mobile.
The mobile version of the game includes new features such as the ‘next ball’ option that allows players to control the speed at which numbers are called. Users are able to play up to six cards simultaneously and the game allows players to collect items that help to increase their trophy collection.
